⚡ YOW Slappier 31″: an old-school City Cruiser
The YOW Slappier pairs a broad 9.85″ platform with a 31″ length for urban travel and skate sessions. Its 14.5″ wheelbase keeps the trucks close together, while the raised nose and tail provide leverage for manoeuvres. This version features a green deck, yellow artwork and cut-out black griptape.
★ A wide deck with room to move
Seven-ply maple construction and the stated Oldschool concave give the Slappier the character of a wide skateboard. At around 25 cm wide, it offers room to adjust foot placement. Both the 5.13″ nose and 6.74″ tail are raised: the rear foot can use the tail to lift the front, and the nose provides another platform for different manoeuvres.
⚙️ TKP trucks and hard wheels for skating
The 169 mm YOW TKP trucks use traditional skateboard geometry. YOW Eki 60 × 40 mm, 101A wheels have a 30 mm contact patch and give a direct response on smooth surfaces. The hard compound suits skateparks and working on slides, but transmits more vibration on rough ground. This is worth considering when choosing a board for everyday routes.
