⚡ YOW Calmon 41″ Signature Series – A deck inspired by longboard surfing
The YOW Calmon 41″ Signature Series is the longest shape in YOW’s current range. Developed from Chloé Calmon’s longboard-surfing experience, it combines a 41″ length and 10″ width with a stretched 27″ wheelbase. The result is a platform aimed at wide lines and the footwork associated with more classic surfing.
★ 27″ wheelbase for cross-stepping and nose riding
The long wheelbase creates plenty of room between the feet and gives the deck a different character from short, highly reactive surfskates. It is particularly suited to cross-stepping—walking along the deck to shift your centre of gravity—and to nose riding.
The extra length also supports wide turns and progressive weight transfers. Final behaviour will naturally depend on the trucks and wheels chosen, but the deck itself is clearly aimed at a flowing, drawn-out style.
⚡ Flat concave, cork top and tail rocker
YOW specifies a Flat concave, meaning very little transverse curvature. This makes it easier to move your feet along the board, which matters for cross-stepping. The cork top reinforces that concept and allows barefoot skating with a softer feel than conventional griptape.
The tail rocker adds lift at the rear, giving the back foot a clear reference point without limiting forward movement.

The Calmon 41″ is a very specific deck for riders who want to practise longboard-style surf footwork on land. Its length, wheelbase and flat concave provide room to move rather than locking the feet into one position.
Consider it if your programme includes cross-stepping, nose riding and wide turns. When building a complete setup, check mounting-hole and hardware compatibility as well as wheel clearance with your chosen trucks.
