When will you be dealing with him? For advice on gear, especially for cruisers and longboards.

Biography

The commander-in-chief of the fleet. The Admiral makes sure that the deck is always bricked up and that the sailors always have soup in their bowls.

Without him, OUTSIDE would probably be called INSIDE and the earth would surely crack open to the demons of hell.

The Admiral has been driving mostly Skate Cruiser and Longboard for over 25 years! His thing is to come to work and roll to his nest.

Specifics: crumbling sidewalks, twigs and gravel have been trying to knock him down for ages. Solution: soft and wide wheels!

Small selection of Mister B's essentials: shoes, socks, protecs, trucks, wheels and bearings.

The Admiral's selection

Bones Rough Riders skate wheels

Bones Rough Riders

Soft skateboard wheels for cruising. The biggest size you can fit on a street board without having excessive wheelbite. An essential to move with a traiditional skateboard while keeping the maneuverability of the board of street while benefiting from the comfort of the big wheels.

Triple 8 Wristguards

Because having two good hands is priceless, and because injuries don't get better with age, I always wear wrist guards, especially on my main hand. The downside: style. The upside: It doesn't matter as long as my wrist is safe. I opt for the "RD" version of the Wristsavers Triple Eight for their comfort, superior to the classic version.

Zealous Ceramic bearings

Zealous Ceramic bearings

Ceramic bearings for my cruiser. The first days' reluctance quickly disappeared. The Zealous Ceramic bearings roll better than traditional skateboard bearings and they resist better over time.

To save a few pushes on the ride, it's not bad. Except that a few pushes per ride, at the end of the year, that's a lot less effort!

Skate shoes Vans SK8-HI

Never without my SK8-HI!

Especially in winter, the Vans SK8-Hi still provides great protection against the cold. This version offers a good support of the ankle and the pro soles are super comfortable.

For confidence, my pumps make me feel stronger!

Caliber II Longboard Trucks

On a wide cruiser board, I opt for trucks longboards rather than trucks street even if I have a lot of affection for the Bear Polar.

To be able to carver at will on the road when the way is free, nothing better than good trucks RKP 50°.

Caliber II: classic, efficient and black... to maximize the chances of fitting the next chainring. As a bonus, it's still very reactive to send powerslides?

Socks Vans

Ok, that's lacking in color all around... but what the heck "Black is Black!"

With my pair of Vans Sk8-HI, good thick Vans socks and high rise. Indispensable for long winter evenings, super comfortable for long rides.

Little extra, these socks go unnoticed even with your nice Sunday clothes to go to step-daddy.
