⚡ Long Island Kona 32″ - Carving and pumping on a broad platform
The Long Island Kona 32″ pairs a 10″-wide deck with Lean Genesis trucks and Cinetic Crop wheels. This setup is intended for carving, pumping and practising surf movements on pavement. An old-school outline with a pointed nose and broad tail provides standing room within a versatile overall length.
⚡ Lean Genesis: drive through body movement
The Genesis surfskate system gives the front truck more turning freedom than a conventional truck. Coordinating weight shifts with upper-body movement lets the rider maintain speed through pumping. It provides a platform for practising linked turns, looking through the turn and timing compression and extension. Accurate steering also depends on setup adjustments and rider technique.
★ A broad deck and grip-focused wheels
Seven-ply maple construction is paired with medium concave. This curved profile helps locate the deck edges and support the feet during weight shifts. A 17.12″ wheelbase provides room for a natural surfskate stance, while the kicktail helps lift the front for small manoeuvres. The Cinetic Crop wheels measure 66 mm in diameter and 51 mm in width, with an 80A durometer focused on comfort and grip through turns. Printed grip and ABEC 7 bearings complete the setup.
